Our Updated Brand

Welcome to IEC’s New Brand & Website

We've got a fresh new look and website, and we're excited to tell you about it. Over the past four years, we've been growing, and our updated brand reflects that journey and where we're headed next. We've listened to our community, including our staff, people with IDD, board members, and supporters, to make sure our changes reflect what's important to us all.

Most people call our organization IEC. Our new logo shows that. We also asked people to describe IEC, and they used these words: inclusive, dynamic, innovative, driven, and passionate. We used those words to make the new brand.

Our Logo Shows Working Together in Healthcare

Our logo now shows how we bring different people together to improve healthcare for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- The logo makes a + sign, which is also a healthcare sign.
-  We've also made it easier to read and added some bright colors to show our energy and creativity.

The logo uses new fonts that are easier to read. We also have added many bright colors that show our creative ideas.

Our Refreshed Website

You can see the new brand on our new website. It includes clearer language and a fresh design. We want everyone to feel welcome here, so we have tried to make it accessible to everyone.

We designed the website with accessibility as a focus, as well. You may notice:

  • You can see an orange and yellow box at the bottom of the screen that says "accessibilty." If you click on that box, you will get many tools to help you see or read the website.
Accessibility written out on an orange background
  • At the very top of the website, you will see the words "Plain Language." If you click on those words, it changes all of the text on the website to plain language. At the bottom of the screen is a green box that also can translate the website into different languages.

  • We have added pictures of our work with icons and illustrations to show what we mean by what we do.

Take a look around our new website and let us know what you think. We're always open to feedback and ideas. We believe this update will help us involve more people in our mission to make healthcare better and safer for those with IDD. We would love to know your thoughts on it.
